UUM-ITU will be organizing a seminar to provide an insights to the importance of radio communication and RACIM's role in emergency communication. The seminar held to achieve several objectives as follows:
* Introducing policies, directives and guidelines in the adjustment of communication in the face of disaster that should be followed by each HAM.
* To share information and strengthen relationship among government agencies, related Ngos, rescue, relief and recovery agencies and HAM.
* Identify the issues and challenges faced by the group of radio amateur and related agencies.
* Developing a platform for HAM community to play their role in time of natural disaster.
* To provide practical experience in radioa amateur EmCom.
